Taking Miami -Dade Transit to Bayfront Park

You can pay directly at Metrorail faregates using your contactless-enabled bank cards or digital wallets instead of using an EASY Card or EASY Ticket. It’s that easy – just tap your Visa, Mastercard, or American Express contactless-enabled card at the Metrorail faregate and you’re on your way to the race. You can also use your wearable device to tap your digital wallet at the gate. Accepted digital wallets include: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and Fitbit Pay. . .

Other Ways to Pay

Attendees can take Metrorail ($2.25 for a one-way trip or $5.65 for a One-Day Pass) to the Government Center station. Transfer to Metromover’s Omni Loop or Inner Loop (free of charge) and get off at the College/Bayside, First Street or Bayfront Park Metromover station.

Download the GO Miami-Dade Transit app to plan your trip or track your ride in real-time, or pay for your fare ahead of time and purchase a One-Day Mobile Pass ($5.65) or a One-Way Mobile Pass ($2.25 - pass will activate upon purchase and expire after 3-hours) and scan at any fare gate equipped with a QR scanner. Our Metrorail faregates also accept contactless-payment methods, such as contactless-enabled debit and credit cards and mobile wallet (only for cards issued in the US).

Riders can also pay for their fare at any Ticket Vending Machine (TVMs) located at all our Metrorail stations and at select Sales Outlets. Preloaded (pass product or stored value) EASY Cards and EASY Tickets are also accepted at the Metrorail faregates.

Parking at a Station

Parking at the Metrorail stations is $4.50 per day, including weekends and holidays. Pay for parking at the station’s EASY Card/Ticket vending machine or through the PayByPhone app.

Connect to Metromover

Take the Metromover Inner Loop from the Government Center station. Exit at College Bayside stop (north end of Bayfront Park), First Street (middle of Bayfront Park) or Bayfront Park station (south end of Bayfront Park).

Driving

Due to road closures, and detours, please allow extra time when driving.
We recommend using the Metromover even if driving to event. Park at any lot or garage in or near Downtown then ride the free Metromover to the Park.

  2. Garage #2 – Cultural Center, 90 SW 1st St

    Nearest MetroMover Station: College/Bayside
    OR walk 3 blocks east and 1 block south to Bayfront Park
  4. Garage #4 – Convention Center Garage, 100 SE 2nd
    Nearest MetroMover Station: Knight Center Station
    OR walk 4 blocks east and 1 block north to Bayfront Park
  5. Bayside Marketplace Garage
    401 Biscayne Blvd. This garage is adjacent to Bayfront Park.
    Access the garage via the Port Blvd entrance. Walk 1 block south to Bayfront Park.
    Participants can park here by showing their bib numbers for a discounted rate of $15.
